Hello, I'm Philippe!

How it all began

I'm Philippe Triconnet, a photographer based west of Paris, near Versailles. Photography has been part of my life for so many years. I practised portraiture alongside a career in finance and also worked professionally in live performance and event video. Since leaving my job in 2024, I have devoted my time fully to photography.

In my fine art photography, I explore the quieter side of Paris: its light, its spaces and the people who pass through them. I also write a journal about the practice of making and looking at images. I bring the same eye to couples, intimate ceremonies and weddings, with attention to light, gestures and fleeting moments.

Some of my personal photographs have been awarded or featured by photography platforms. You can see the images and details on my Recognition page.

My promise to you

I want your photographs to feel like yours. I'll listen to what you have in mind, guide you when it helps and leave room for the moments no one could have planned. A carefully made portrait matters to me as much as an unguarded exchange.

I photograph intimate ceremonies and take on a limited number of weddings each year. I prepare each one with the couple, photograph it myself, and personally select and finish the images. I also print a selection of photographs, presented in a box for weddings.

Whether you live in France or are planning your ceremony or wedding here from abroad, we can work together in English throughout. I'll go through the photographic schedule with you, including the times and locations, and explain how I'll cover the different parts of the day.

Let’s preserve the moments that feel like yours.

I’d rather your photos feel natural than perfectly posed.
